Wilma R. Propst: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice

1926 - 2009

GREENVIEW - Wilma Ruth Propst, 83, of Greenview, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 7:15 p.m. at Heartland of Peoria nursing home.

She was born on March 29, 1926, in Greenview, to Homer and Hazel Sewell Tripp. She married Carl E. Propst; he survives in Peoria.

She is also survived by a daughter, Judi (husband, Tom) Carter of Houston; three sons, John (wife, Sandra) Boyer of Greenville, Tenn., Bart (wife, Andrea) Propst of Dunlap, and Eric Propst of Mount Sterling; one brother, Wayne Tripp of Mason City; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A brother, Darnell Tripp preceded her in death.

Wilma was a member of the Greenview Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Greenview. Pastor Greg Shambo will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
