Norma Jean Carnduff, 71, of Springfield died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Springfield, the daughter of Kenneth N. and Alta L. Hughes Whitley. She married Donald D. Carnduff; he preceded her in death in 1997.

Survivors: two sons, Don Carnduff of Springfield and Ken Carnduff of Fairview, Tenn.; two daughters, Shelley Green of Washington and Candy Peet of Virginia; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, the Rev. Rick Irwin officiating. Burial: Oakland Cemetery in Petersburg.
