RARITAN -- Max L. Livermore, 72, of Raritan died at 2:10 p.m.

Sunday, March 3, 1996, at Burlington Medical Center in Burlington, Iowa.

Born June 19, 1923, in Monmouth to Leonard and Mildred Engle Livermore, he married June Cleland on Jan. 16, 1948, in Sciota. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Jean Anne) Lee of Raritan and Mrs. Avery (Betty) Mynatt of Stronghurst; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and one brother, James of Bushnell.

He was a lifelong resident of the Raritan community, where he farmed for many years. He worked for the state highway department for 20 years.

He was a member of Roseville Masonic Lodge 519, AF&AM. He was a member of Raritan Baptist Church.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Corman Memorial Home in Roseville. The Rev. Dan Osborne will officiate. Masonic services will be at 7 tonight at the memorial home, where visitation will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in Raritan Cemetery in Raritan.
