Wilma is the daughter of Homer Isaac Tripp and Hazel Ellen Sewell. She first married John William Boyer and together they had two children, one of which is my mother. After John and Wilma got divorced, Wilma married Carl Edward Propst. Together they had two children who are also still living. Grandma Propst, as I grew up to know her, was everything that one would want out of a grandmother. She visited frequently even though we lived 45 minutes from each other. She always gave us kids money, encouraged us to save it for the future. We heard stories about how she grew up during the depression years. Her youngest son, Eric is just a couple years older than me. Please see the story attached to this page. It is a story Grandma Propst personally wrote about her childhood.
